South Baldwin Chamber Celebrates Grand Opening of "Sue's Kitchen" at Ecumenical Ministries
New Foley facility expands local Meals on Wheels services to support homebound seniors across South Baldwin County
FOLEY, Ala. — On September 16th, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce was proud to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the official grand opening of Sue’s Kitchen at Ecumenical Ministries’ Foley location.
Sue's Kitchen will serve as the heart of Ecumenical Ministries’ South Baldwin Meals on Wheels program. This dedicated facility enables staff and volunteers to prepare and deliver fresh, hot meals Monday through Friday to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Foley, Elberta, Lillian, Magnolia Springs, and Bon Secour.
The South Baldwin Chamber is honored to partner with Ecumenical Ministries to celebrate this monumental milestone. Sue's Kitchen represents months of dedication, planning, and community generosity. This new facility will make a lasting impact on South Baldwin County by ensuring our homebound neighbors receive both nutritious meals and vital social connection.
The project was made possible through the collective support of local businesses, donors, and dedicated volunteers who helped outfit the kitchen and bring the project to fruition.
