Foster Kids Matter is a Baldwin County nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity, hope, and stability to children entering foster care by meeting immediate needs and building pathways to a brighter future. Through Hope Bags, Birthday Bags, UBelong, and other community-driven initiatives, we provide practical support and meaningful experiences for local children and teens navigating foster care.

Blue Bird Resale by Foster Kids Matter is our mission-supported resale store and a new way for the community to be part of that work. Open to the public, Blue Bird gives new life to donated clothing, shoes, and other items for children and teens, with proceeds helping support the ongoing work of Foster Kids Matter. Through partnerships with trusted local organizations, Blue Bird also provides monthly clothing vouchers to foster, kinship, and respite caregivers.

Whether someone shops, donates, volunteers, gives, or partners with us, Foster Kids Matter and Blue Bird Resale offer practical ways for our community to show up for local children and families—and help us stay ready for the moments we're needed most.
