DAPHNE, Ala. — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is investing in the continued growth of its team as staff members participate in the 2026 Alabama Chambers Professional Development Conference, held September 28–30 in Daphne.

Programs & Development Coordinator Christy Bledsoe and Member Engagement Director Alicia Watts, both of whom joined the Chamber team within the past year, are attending the three-day conference to expand their knowledge of chamber operations, connect with chamber professionals from across Alabama, and bring new ideas and best practices back to South Baldwin County.

Presented by The Fund, the annual conference brings together chamber professionals at all stages of their careers for networking, roundtable discussions, breakout sessions and professional development. This year’s sessions cover topics including events, marketing, operations, economic development, disaster preparedness and other areas important to chamber leadership.

The conference also provided an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone within the South Baldwin Chamber team. Kylee Raulerson, Community Workforce & Foundation Executive Director, was recognized for 10 years of service in the chamber industry.

Raulerson joined the South Baldwin Chamber in 2016 and has grown alongside the organization, now leading community workforce initiatives and the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation’s efforts to support education, workforce development and opportunities for students throughout the community.

South Baldwin Chamber President & CEO Travis Valentine joined Bledsoe, Watts and Raulerson for the recognition.

From welcoming new professionals into the chamber industry to celebrating a decade of service, the conference reflects the Chamber’s commitment to developing its team, strengthening its organization and continuing to better serve its members and the South Baldwin community.
